Onshore/ Offshore Service Technician

Scan Tech Offshore are looking for experienced Offshore Service Technician to join our rapidly growing Australia team on a permanent basis.

Based in Henderson, Western Australia you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of well test support equipment in our workshop facility and offshore, including diesel driven air compressors, steam generators, electrical/ hydraulic pumps and safety systems.

Qualifications/Skills/Experience required.
- Ensuring service procedures and standards are followed in accordance with company guidelines
- Maintaining safety standards as per the Occupational Health & safety Regulations
- Packaging, maintenance and operation of company equipment both onshore & offshore as required following company service guidelines & procedures
- Completion of service reports, minimum spares stock and handover sheets as required following company procedures
- Maintain, livery, decals & signage
- Calibrate relevant safety devices
- Carry out third party inspections
- Pressure test hoses when required
- Working safely as per the Occupational Health & Safety Regulations
- Maintaining a professional and courteous approach to customers and colleagues at all times.

Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Manager within the timeframe specified, in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable and you are deemed competent to fulfil these.

**Essential.**
- Experience of working in an offshore or overseas environment
- Computer literate i.e. Word & Excel
- Ability to handle a variety of tasks and priorities in accordance with business requirements
- Mechanical Experience - automotive, diesel engines, heavy plant, etc.
- Ability to establish a good rapport with clients whilst onsite
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)

**Preferred.**
- A qualification in a relevant Electrical or Mechanical discipline.
- Ability to handle a variety of tasks and priorities in accordance with business requirements
- Quality assurance awareness training
- Diesel engine training /shutdown systems
- Pressure testing awareness training
- Manual handling awareness training
- Work at heights awareness training
- Risk assessment training
- Slips, trips & fall awareness training
- Air compressor operator training
- Experienced diesel or steam boiler mechanic
- Strong adaptability and problem-solving skills

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
