**About our Opportunity**

Reporting to the Warehouse & Logistics Manager, you will coordinate and maintain a reliable and efficient dispatch service for customer orders by scheduling interstate truck runs daily and assisting your two Despatch colleagues with handling local delivery and pick up requirements.

In order to enable scheduled jobs to be delivered in a timely and efficient manner, you will arrange transportation and coordinate scheduled deliveries and support the out going freight and pick up from our Trade counter. In this fast paced role, you will need to be confident with customer interactions i.e Truck Drivers and Builders at our Trade Counter, at times troubleshooting solutions with respect to customer complaints and re-assigning or re-scheduling any returned deliveries.

In addition, you’ll:

- manage Distribution inbox
- manage requests for any add on to runs ensuring accurate recording
- prepare and distribute daily reports
- confirm delivery bookings with customers to ensure site ready for delivery and/or collection of products

**About You**

We’re looking for someone with in person customer service experience and strong administration skills as a minimum, ideally in a similar role servicing a Trade Counter where you've had exposure to transport planning or scheduling. We’re looking for a team player who is agile, methodical with highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt their communication style to the needs of our customers Truck Drivers and Builders. You'll need to be pragmatic in your approach to providing quality customer service with capability of lateral thinking when resolving problems that arise.
