Anime/manga/character Design Teacher

We are looking for someone who has a broad range of experience, knowledge and skills relating to anime, manga and character design.

**Skills**:

- Teachers must feel comfortable teaching a broad range of skills and styles and knowledge/experience of a variety of materials
- Able to confidently teach groups of up to 20 students
- Able to work independently and with a team
- Able to create lesson plans appropriate for ages 5 - 16 as well as adults

**Attributes**:

- Able to multi-task and keep calm in a sometimes fast paced working environment
- responsible, reliable and proactive
- A warm, patient and gentle teaching style
- Ability to build report easily with students and families
- Proactive, confident and enthusiastic

**Availability**:

- Must be available on Friday evenings from 3 pm - 8 pm during the school term
- Available some weekends
- Available over the school holidays to run school holiday workshops

**Essential**:

- Working with Children Check
- Current first aid training
- Police check

**Compensation**:
Casual ongoing position. $30-38 per hour.
