**The Role**:
We are seeking local MC Drivers to join the team in our busy Melbourne depot for pickup and delivery work. Local drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of customer goods and the loading, unloading and load restraint of freight.

**Primary duties of the role include**:

- Working with temperature sensitive produce for local pickup and delivery runs
- Ensuring the safe and timely handling of company freight
- Completing relevant pre-start checklists, safety documentation and delivery paperwork including the use of in-vehicle technology
- Interacting with clients in a professional manner
- Working closely with depot teams for the loading, unloading and transportation of freight

**About You**:

- Have a current MC licence
- Have a commitment to workplace health and safety
- Be reliable and punctual with good communication skills
- Have a strong customer focus
- Knowledge of paperwork associated with freight delivery and familiarity using internal cab data systems.
- A commitment to workplace health and safety

**To be successful for this role applicants must**:

- Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol test
- Provide a current traffic print out
- Be well presented, professional and reliable
- Experience transporting chilled freight, frozen freight or livestock is highly respected
- Be willing to work weekend shifts and be flexible with start & finish times
