We are looking for two casual art teachers to join our team of tutors.
- **About the role**:_

Our art tutors present a range of easy, beginner friendly workshops to our wide range of customers. We predominantly offer art classes on weekend evenings, as well as kids classes during weekdays and school holidays. Shifts are a minimum of 3 hours up to 5 hours, depending on the workshop being taught. We will provide the workshop to be taught and train you in it - your responsibility will be to set everything up, clean up and most importantly, present a fun and relaxing session to our customers. We are pretty flexible with the amount of shifts you would like to work e.g. once a week or twice a month, so it is perfect for anyone who is looking for a very flexible schedule.

This position is specifically for:
1. Kids art term starting on 29th April for 8-9 weeks from 3:30pm.
Evening workshops Friday/ Saturday nights approx. 5:30pm to 9pm - Times/dates varies.
2. An additional position is available for a casual art teacher with Clay making experience to present clay workshops - Pottery Wheel sessions and hand building. Dates and times can be discussed for evening and weekend workshops.
- **To be successful in this role you need to**:_
- Have good art skills and able to assist students to correct or improve their art works on the spot
- Have experience with acrylic paint and the ability to recreate an example piece we provide (Basic Paint skills)
- Be someone who love presenting art lessons to children and adults
- Love working with people
- Be a natural bubbly and talkative person
- Be very reliable as we can't run workshops without a tutor present

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $33.96 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 6 per week
