**About the Role**:
Based in Ipswich, the Case Manager in DCC Industry Group’s Youth and Communities division plays a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive case management and driving positive outcomes for children and young people in Non-Family Based Care. Reporting to the Senior Program Manager, you will have direct line management responsibility for House Managers and foster a trauma-informed, therapeutic environment that promotes the wellbeing and development of vulnerable children and young people in care. You will be responsible for achieving compliance with relevant regulations, including the Human Services Quality Standards (HSQS), Child Safety licensing requirements, particularly the Standards of Care under the Child Protection Act (1999) Qld.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Develop, implement, and review tailored case management plans with children, young people, and care teams.
- Monitor progress and adjust plans to ensure positive outcomes.
- Support transition planning (e.g., adulthood, housing).
- Ensure all care is trauma-informed, therapeutic, and safe.
- Address risks promptly and uphold compliance with policies and legislation.
- Advocate for children’s rights and ensure access to needed resources and services.
- Provide supervision, mentorship, and guidance to House Managers.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and psychologically safe team culture.
- Promote professional development, self-care, and staff well-being.
- Implement performance management and encourage alignment with organisational values and goals.
- Build strong relationships with external partners (government, NGOs, families).
- Communicate regularly to align goals and coordinate resources.
- Ensure the voices of children, young people, and staff are reflected in service planning and delivery.
- Maintain accurate case records and documentation.
- Use relevant systems to track and report on outcomes.
- Ensure administrative tasks are timely and meet policy and legislative standards.

**Qualifications/Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Child Protection in Queensland.
- Hold a tertiary qualification in social work, human services, psychology or relevant field.
- LCS check or willing to obtain
- Blue card or willing to obtain
- Police check or willing to obtain
- First Aid and CPR or willing to obtain
