**Instructors needed for our 2025/26 Summer Surfing Season**

Illawarra Surf Academy is a locally owned and operated surf school which operates at Thirroul, Corrimal & Warilla Beaches.
- Do you love the beach and the ocean environment?
- Are you self-motivated, outgoing and enjoy sharing your knowledge?
Then you'd fit in with our small, but dynamic team of surf coaches that love spending time on the beach.
**You will join our team running group & private surf lessons for kids and adults of all ages and abilities.**
At times you will be required to work unsupervised and uphold the strong work ethic that rest of the team prides themselves on.
**All successful applicants must be willing to obtain the following qualifications**:

- Surfing Australia Foundation (Level 1) Surf Coach Award
- Ocean Safety Award (OSSCA or Bronze Medallion)
- First Aid Certificate
- Working with Children's Check

**To be considered applicants must**:

- Be able to work effectively both as a team and individually
- Be available at least 3 days per week and weekends
- Have a strong understanding of the ocean environment and risks involved
- Be energetic, enthusiastic and posses a willingness to share and educate our clients
- Surfing Experience is essential

**Hourly rate is between $25.00 and $35.00 depending on current skills, experience and qualifications.**
