**The Role**
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented **HSEQ Inspector**to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, assessing, and reporting on Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) compliance across our operations. You will work closely with project managers, supervisors, and employees to ensure best practices are embedded in day-to-day activities.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Conduct HSEQ inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with legislation, company policies, and industry standards.
- Provide guidance and support to site teams to foster a safe working environment.
- Report, investigate, and assist in resolving incidents and near misses.
- Develop, deliver, and promote HSEQ awareness and training initiatives.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workplace safety and quality.
**About You**
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Qualifications in Work Health & Safety, Environmental Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in health and safety inspections within the construction industry, preferably in commercial construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, standards, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving ability.
