**The Role**

**Assignments & Delivery**:

- Posses an uncompromising attitude to health and safety within the workplace
- Be the lead for the assembly, test and commissioning of new production build machines (3D Metal Printers), major assemblies and sub assembly products
- On new and existing projects and products, feed back into the SPEE3D operations team, reports highlighting information about quality, BOM, assembly related issues, product enhancement and safety compliance
- Conduct product validation and potentially commissioning at the end of each production machine build
- Carry out concessional modifications to the machines where required
- Provide technical support and training where requested for manufacturing, service engineers and SPEE3D agents
- Any other duties as assigned by direct manager

**Competencies**
- Background in machine tools, special purpose machinery building or like industry
- Trade certificate of proficiency (Fitter & Turner / lab technician / Electrical mechanic /other)
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
- Ability and enthusiasm to perform hands-on mechanical and basic electrical tasks as required
- Strong attention to detail and methodical work style
- Proven root cause analysis and problem solving

**Salary**: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Dandenong, VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
