**The Opportunity '“ Family Law Legal Associate**

Our client prides themselves on their alternative dispute resolution approach to family law. They are mediation focused and prefer to settle outside of court where possible to minimise stress and provide extra care for clients.

Working closely with and being mentored by experienced family lawyers, your role will include achieving positive results on matters including family and relationships, divorce, parenting, financial, domestic violence etc.

You will be responsible for the management of legal issues including:

- Supervision and direction of mediation sessions
- Record keeping of official documents
- Preparation and execution of detailed briefings with the team on each case
- Time management of schedule including hearings and court appearances
- Responding to client matters with urgency

**About you**

To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience and exceptional attention to detail. You will share a passion for obtaining the best possible outcomes for their clients.

You will also have:

- Bachelor of Law or similar
- Post-admission family law experience
- Experience in both out-of-court settlements and mediations as well as court appearances

You will be:

- PLT qualified
- Approachable and personable
- Accomplished in negotiation and debating methods
- Highly skilled in literacy and communication for legal documents
- Able to multitask proficiently
- Organised and able to ensure maximum workplace efficiency
