We're on the hunt for enthusiastic team members to join our new Restaurant in Ballarat

**Role Overview**: Our goal is to deliver outstanding customer service and create a welcoming in-store atmosphere. This means warmly greeting customers, accurately processing their orders, handling payments smoothly, and ensuring their orders are prepared and delivered correctly and promptly.

You'll be involved in various food preparation tasks and cooking El Jannah’s menu items. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace is key, as back-of-house team members play a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals quickly.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Take customer orders using our POS system.
- Have a thorough understanding of our menu to offer recommendations.
- Pack and hand over orders to customers and delivery partners.
- Maintain a clean and tidy front-of-house area.
- Restock supplies as needed.
- Address and resolve customer feedback.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and health regulations.
- Prepare ingredients and assemble menu items according to our recipes and standards.
- Operate cooking equipment like fryers, grills, and ovens.
- Monitor food temperatures to ensure all dishes meet our specifications.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, equipment, and utensils.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $29.23 - $35.07 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week

**Benefits**:

- Public holidays
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Braybrook, VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
