Our client is a tier 1 to Telstra and along with Mobile Projects who also work in Electric Vehicle Charging Projects.

You will have opportunity to work on diverse telecommunications projects with an excellent leader who is known throughout the industry for their vast knowledge and high standards of practice.

Based in Sydney this role offers flexible working and competitive salary package.

**Position**:

- Managing and mentor a team of 4-8 CAD Drafters to meet design objectives and deliver successful outcomes.
- Liaise with clients and other stakeholders regarding drafting related matters and ensuring that any technical difficulties are articulated and resolved promptly.
- Work collaboratively with the wider team, communicating updates and documenting work regularly
- Assist Design Manager with the coordination of all works, allocation of resources, fee negotiations and compliance to contract milestones.
- Deliver feedback to the team and ensure the team is clear on objectives and time frames

**What we are looking for**:

- Qualification in Civil / Structural Engineering.
- Experience with Telstra drawing specs, DBORs and CADlink essential.
- Minimum 5 years of successful design and Structural drafting) experience.
- Prior experience supervising a team of CAD drafters; allocating work, providing feedback and ensure all work is produced to a high standard.
- Awareness of Telco Wireless Infrastructure projects and lifecycle
- Strong communication skills
- both verbal and written
- A drive to deliver quality work and take accountability for your responsibilities on a daily basis
- Qualification in Operations or Project Management as Design Coordinator/Drafter advantageous but not essential
- Current and full Australian working rights
