**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a motivated and friendly casual receptionist to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with excellent communication and computer skills, a professional manner, and the ability to provide outstanding customer service. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in ensuring a welcoming and smooth experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using our booking system.
- Process payments, issue receipts, and manage Medicare and private health fund claims.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information as required.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and preparing documents.
- Provide support to podiatrists and other team members with day-to-day operations.
- Ensure the reception area is tidy and stocked with brochures and forms.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role (healthcare experience preferred but not essential).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn practice management software.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work flexibly across multiple locations, including occasional weekend shifts if required.

Pay: From $33.56 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
