Electrical Tradesperson

As a manufacturer and distributor of baked products, we have an opportunity for an experienced **Electrical Tradesperson** to join our team. We bring our passion for bread making to the centre of the table, where our products can be shared and enjoyed by all.

**The Role**:
The Electrical Tradesperson’s responsibility is to ensure that all Plant and Machinery is maintained in a safe, compliant, and efficient running condition, in order to provide production with maximum machinery availability. In addition, the Electrical Tradesperson is responsible for promptly communicating any Plant & Machinery issues to the Maintenance Supervisor & Manager, along with any initiatives to improve efficiency. The Electrical Tradesperson is also responsible for overseeing the safety of co-workers and compliance with hygiene/food safety standards.

**PAY RATE** - $46.10 p/h T1.5Sat / T2.0Sun
Night shifts have additional 30% loading

**HOURS **- 6am - 6pm or 6pm - 6am
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks
- Decrease the duration of downtimes
- Actively provides production service, making sure that Plant and Machinery are functioning efficiently to minimize waste and excess labour requirements.
- Assist Engineering Department with meeting deadlines with the installation of new projects and improvements to current Plant & Machinery.
- Monitor Plant and Machinery performance to ensure that capacity meets specifications at all times.
- Communicate regularly with the Engineering Team, Maintenance Supervisor, Shift Manager and Maintenance Manager.
- Monitor Plant and Equipment performance and report on initiatives to improve workflows and outputs.
- Increase uptime by the implementation of improvements and permanent fixes to re-occurring failures.
