Glide is a leading manufacturer and supplier of Specialised Assistive Technology to assist persons living with a disability. We provide custom wheelchairs solutions for clients ranging from manual wheelchairs through to complex powered mobility, seating and pressure care needs.

We are seeking a wheelchair technician to join our growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for you as a Tradesperson or Service Technician to really make a difference. This role will require a major commitment from you to ensure our clients get the very best outcome from the services we provide.

Full training will be given by team members with many years’ experiences in this field but you will have a common sense approach to solving problems and a make it happen attitude that will set you apart.

Your main roles will be:

- Setting up wheelchairs for trials
- Servicing of manual and powered wheelchairs
- Assist in quoting of a service repair
- Assisting individuals to find the correct equipment solution by understanding the client’s needs and evaluating options available.
- Assembly of wheelchairs which includes fitting of seating components.
- Ability to test and program power wheelchairs.

- Able to work autonomously and in a busy team environment.
- Fit and energetic as some lifting required.
- Australian drivers’ licence and the right to work and live in Australia.
- Current driver's licence

If successful, you will be required to provide a National Police Clearance (valid within the last 6 months) at your own cost.
