**Location - Nowra. Travel to Wollongong also required.**

**Grade - Clerk Grade 1/2**
**Salary - $70,694 - $76,857 + Employers’ contribution Superannuation and Annual Leave Loading**
**Your role**
As a Court Officer in the NSW Office of the Sheriff, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day operational support within a functioning fast paced courtroom environment.
This includes but is not limited to:
- Administrative activities to support the functions of the NSW Sheriff’s Office
- Courtroom support
- Use of various forms of technology
- Jury support
- Management and the facilitation of courtrooms
The role is based in Nowra, however, travel to Wollongong will be required to support court operations.
Please note that the Court Officer role involves exposure to graphic content, including images, photographs and discussions relating to violence, sexual assault and/or homicide matters.
At the NSW Sheriff’s Office, we conduct law enforcement, security, and support activities to ensure the safe and successful operation of state courts. We also administer the NSW jury service system, a massive operation which involves more than 700,000 NSW citizens each year.
**What we’re looking for**
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent administrative and data entry skills.
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and work in different jurisdictions and court locations.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality and the integrity of the Court and the jury process.
