**We are now seeking a full-time Employment Coach based in Cranbourne, Victoria, to join the SYC Team**

**About the Role...**

An Employment Coach will actively engage with participants to identify the skills and potential barriers to employment of each individual, and work with them to achieve their tailored employment goals. This role will benefit from supporting and assisting job seekers while working within a supportive and results driven team.

As an **Employment Coach**, you will:

- Market participants to employers to achieve sustainable employment outcomes
- Provide individual case management support and facilitate development tailored to overcome their barriers to employment
- Ensure timely referral to employment opportunities, vocational training, employment activities and non-vocational programs
- Negotiate employment opportunities by utilising wage subsidies and all other available initiatives to support and sustain long term employment
- Provide thorough Post Placement Support to employers and participants

**About You...**

As someone who enjoys working autonomously within a broader team environment, you will be passionate about developing relationships with employers, relevant stakeholders, and participants to achieve success in their employment journey You will be outcomes focused and enjoy the challenge of meeting targets and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills with well-developed verbal, and written skills, and the ability to prepare and conduct effective presentations.
- Self-motivation and initiative, with well-developed organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines and attend to multiple tasks and priorities.
- Interpersonal, conflict resolution and negotiation skills along with the ability to identify innovative and lateral solutions to problems.
