Cocare are currently seeking enthusiastic, compassionate, respectful and experienced support workers to join our growing team to provide quality supports to our clients. We are based in Bankstown and cover the **Southwestern**and **Western suburbs of Sydney**.

**About us**

Cocare is a registered NDIS Service Provider. We provide domestic assistance, personal care, specialist supports, plan management, support coordination and community access for the Greater Sydney region. The supports provided would be for those that live independently in the community that require in-home supports with their general daily routines.

**About the Role | Tasks & responsibilities**
- Assist clients with maintaining accommodation and improve community inclusion
- Available for work around a 7-day roster including mornings, evenings and weekends on a casual basis
- Support clients with independent living and self-management skills
- Provide individual psychosocial support
- Work with the client in working towards achieving their identified goals
- Liaise with service providers to ensure adequate support, referral and information is provided

**Essential Requirements**
- A current NSW Driver's Licence and own motor vehicle
- A current National Police Check and Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Completion of NDIS training module for Worker Orientation
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- A current First Aid Certificate
- Strong professional boundaries and the ability to follow procedures
- **Highly Desirable**: Experience with clients who demonstrate challenging behaviours

Pay: From $31.76 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Shift work
- Weekend availability

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
