**About the role**
We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our supportive team at Slade Pharmacy from July 2025, located within the Burnside Hospital in Toorak Gardens. Whether you're looking to build on your experience or transition from community pharmacy into a dynamic hospital environment, this permanent full-time role offers hands-on experience across a variety of pharmacy services. You’ll be part of a friendly, close-knit team that values collaboration, learning, and delivering modern, patient-focused care.

This position operates Monday to Friday, working 76 hours per fortnight - no evenings or weekends required.

Key responsibilities:

- Dispense medication for hospital patients
- Assist with administration tasks
- Serve customers and discharge patients and assist them with any queries and OTC medication needs
- Order, scan and deliver Imprest medication around the various wards across the hospital
- Order and maintain medications required for the dispensary
- Prepare for and conduct the pharmacy stocktakes
- Assist with receipting invoices
- Assist in the setup and management of clinical trials

**Who are we looking for?**
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who has the ability to work autonomously and within a team. With previous dispensary experience, you will possess high attention to detail and proven ability to deliver a high standard of customer service.

Essential Requirements_:_
- Previous experience dispensing medication in an Australian-based community or hospital pharmacy
- Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS)
