- The role involves duties relating to the safe and efficient operation of the plant, and buildings. Assist with setup and operation of the plan to optimise output and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You must be able to demonstrate strong communication skills, problem solving and diagnostic skills.
- **Key Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Perform delegated planned/productive and predictive maintenance;
- Analyse and diagnose system/machine issues;
- Carry out assigned maintenance repairs and monitoring of equipment and infrastructure;
- Plan and execute special projects and improvements;
- Liaise with other departments where necessary to safely and successfully perform tasks;
- Ensuring WH&S practices are upheld;

**Required skills & experience**:

- Trade qualification metal trades;
- Minimum 3 years in a similar role with a manufactory environment, preferably with FMCG type machinery;
- Team leader or supervisory experience highly regarded;
- Experience with PLC controlled machines;
- Experience with safe maintenance principles and practices;
- Commitment to safety practices;
- Reliable and proven work history;
- Self-motivated and able to work independently;
