An exciting opportunity has arisen for a **Diploma Room Leader 2-3 years**to join our team at Toongabbie [71 placed centre].

Ideal applicant should be energetic and have a strong sense of teamwork. Be able to motivate and support educators in regards to the day to day running of the room, programming responsibilities and creating a warm and inviting environment for all children and families.

Applicant needs to have an understanding of the EYLF and NQS and have verbal and written communication skills.

**Essential Criteria**:

- A Diploma in Early Childhood Education or Teaching.
- Planning, implementing and evaluating a curriculum/program for individuals and groups in accordance with approved curriculum frameworks.
- A year experience as room leader or leadership position
- Experience with the 2-3 years age group
- An understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework.
- Valid WWCC
- Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management (or willing to obtain)
- Food handling training
- Child Protection Training

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
