At **Mrs Poppins Care** we work hard to improve and help the quality of life with disabilities people. We are looking for employees who are compassionate and dependable cleaners to join our team.

**About the role**

You will extend support to people with disabilities living in Brisbane and improve their quality of life by providing basic domestic assistance and housekeeping. You’ll be required to travel to client’s homes using your own car.

**Role Responsibilities**
- Do the household duties including but not limit: (a) Vacuuming, mopping and sweeping the floors (b)Dusting, window cleaning, sanitizing hard surfaces and appliances (c) Cleaning kitchen, toilet and washrooms
- Clean the bed rooms, changing the linens and folding the laundry
- Ensuring overall hygiene and sanitation, personal care, and infection control procedures
- Punctual attendance at client’s site at committed schedule
- Skilled on using basic cleaning tools and equipment (provided by the company)
- Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Policies and Procedures
- Advise the management of any incidents and needs to repair

**Requirements**:
You need to have a genuine passion to extend assistance for people with disabilities and has good communication skills to connect with our clients.
- Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa
- Previous worked experience as domestic assistance with household duties (essential)
- Driver’s Licence, reliable car and mobile phone (essential)
- First Aid and CPR training (is a plus)
- NDIS screening check or Police check (essential)
