**Job Description**:
Calling out to all experience Slitter Operators, come and join our Centre of Excellence site in Dandenong South. We have opportunities across all shifts - day, afternoon and night, offering attractive pay rates.

**Your role will include**:

- Produce high-quality Flexographic rewind as per the instruction provided via the Job Ticket
- Follow any work, safety or procedural instructions
- Supervise and instruct the assigned Slitters Assistant
- Manage the continued implementation of the HACCP and ISO policies which specifically include a clean, tidy and safe work area
- Report any equipment faults/breakdowns and assist where possible in the resolution of said faults/breakdowns
- Ensure Assistant’s conformance with FSC22000 and ISO systems as well as additional systems that will be required
- Attend and contribute in any regular or adhoc meetings as requested
- Manage systems and processes to reduce quality issues from raw material through to finished goods
- Implement additional systems where necessary to ensure that the raw materials and finished goods are at a standard as required
- Implement customer-specific quality requirements
- Investigate and report on waste %’s as well as process improvements to reduce waste

**Qualifications**:

- Slitter machine operator experience preferred
- Proficient mathematical and measurement skills
- Ability to handle project-type work while working individually with little supervision
- Experience working with production computer software
- Broad knowledge of product and customer specifications
- Mechanical knowledge of and ability to adjust gauges, scales, and hand tools
