Repairs will include basic carpentry, gardening, mowing and plumbing, fixtures and fittings (adjusting, replacing) and painting - Liaise with the Front Office team to log and complete maintenance tasks related to accommodation rooms and Hotel public areas. - Build a strong and collaborative relationship with all stakeholders in the business, including guests and team members - Ensure cost control measures are implemented and all administration duties are completed in a timely manner - Ensure company standards, systems and procedures are being implemented and maintained - Mon to Friday role with some weekend work required **ABOUT YOU**: - Positive and optimistic attitude - "we can do anything" approach - Experience with fixing day to day things - lights, taps, paint etc. - Logical approach to problem solving - Ability to understand what the customer sees - and ensure our property is always kept to the highest standard - Ability to work with teams, and communicate clearly and in time - Knowledge and experience working with large plant (boiler, chiller) - Knowledge of a trade beneficial - Knowledge of relevant legislation, standards and codes of practice highly regarded - Strong communication skills **ABOUT US**: **Lancemore Macedon Ranges** Surrounded by 274 acres of idyllic Australian bushland with unobstructed views out to the Macedon Ranges and featuring purpose-built meeting areas equipped with modern technology the beautiful, rustic lodge offers 72 private guest rooms with all the comforts of a deluxe modern hotel.
