Thanks to your support and enthusiasm to grow Australian Native Bushfood plants, we have an opportunity for an Indigenous trainee to join us here at our nursery in the Perth hills.

We would like to help the next generation of bushfood enthusiasts by mentoring and training someone who would like to commit to the industry.

The ideal person should have an interest in Growing and Cooking native bushfood plants. You will need to be fit and active and enjoy outdoor work. People who have an eye for detail, are Social Media savvy and enjoy getting their hands dirty are encouraged to apply

Ideally you will have a Drivers License (or be in the process of getting one) and have your own transport as public transport is not convenient where we are located.

Initially this would be a Casual Position but permanent for the right person.

Duties include
- Preparing plants for retail dispatch. Labelling, trimming, weeding.
- Propagating young plants.
- Physically moving plant batches by trolley or quad bike.
- General Weeding.
- General Housekeeping duties.
- Potting plants
- Harvest Fresh produce & drying Native herbs

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Sawyers Valley, WA 6074: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
