The Melbourne Veterinary School is pleased to offer a residency training program in Veterinary Oncology.
The residency is supported by board-certified specialists at the University of Melbourne, along with additional clinical staff.

**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Clinical and Professional Development: Undertake supervised clinical activities to meet A NZCVS specialisation requirements and participate in School planning and committees.
- Education and Mentorship: Contribute to teaching and supervising Doctor of Veterinary Medicine students in your areas of expertise.
- Research and Publication: Conduct research, present at conferences, and publish in peer-reviewed journals with increasing autonomy.
- Collaboration and Leadership: Work cooperatively in a multi-disciplinary team and contribute to a positive work environment.
**You may be a great fit if**:
**You**are required to**:
- Have completed an internship or have equivalent practice experience.
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English.
- Demonstrate strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines effectively.
**It is desired that you**:
- Have experience in supervising or training veterinary students in clinical or research activities.
- Show a track record of academic outputs such as peer-reviewed publications or conference presentations.
