**Job Description**:
Our Pact Packaging division is pioneering a whole of product life cycle approach to sustainable packaging. Partnering with global brands to local dairy producers, we integrate supply chain efficiencies and sustainable practices into everything we design and manufacture.
**About this opportunity**
At Pact Group our vision is to lead the circular economy through Packaging, Reuse and Recycling solutions. We operate 110 manufacturing facilities across 16 countries and employ more than 6000 team members.
In the Pact Reuse Environmental Solutions business, our world class Somersby manufacturing facility is ran by is a close-knit team who consistently achieves great things together moulding mobile garbage bins.
New machines, technology and investment means there are future opportunities available for the right person. The roster involves 6 days on rotating shifts then 4 days off providing our team with good work life balance
**Your key responsibilities will be to**:
- Work safely, looking after yourself and your team mates
- Setup injection moulding machines and ancillary equipment such as cutters, lasers and conveyors.
- Initiate change of moulds, hot stamps, inserts and materials. Assign duties to operators accordingly.
- Perform maintenance on injection moulding machines, handlings, hot stampers and other relevant equipment
- Repair or attempt to repair any breakdown then call in the R&M team to assist as needed
- Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of products.
- Deliver finished goods into the warehouse department.

- Good mechanical aptitude with relevant education and / or relevant experience
- Problem solving mindset
- Teamwork focus
- Good reading and writing skills
