**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of educational programs and practices across the centre.
- Mentor and support educators in curriculum planning, documentation, and reflective practice.
- Ensure educational programs meet the individual and group needs of children, promoting holistic development.
- Champion the centre’s philosophy and values in daily practice.
- Collaborate with the Centre Director to drive quality improvement initiatives in line with the National Quality Framework.
- Build strong relationships with families and the wider community to foster inclusive practices.
- Conduct regular observations and assessments of children’s learning and development.
- Support professional development and training for educators to build capacity and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent ACECQA-approved qualification).
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role or senior educator position.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, and current best practices in early childhood education.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
- Current Working With Children Check (NSW) and First Aid certifications (including Asthma, Anaphylaxis, and CPR).
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
- A collaborative and reflective approach to teaching and leadership.
