Your part in Buderim Private Hospital

As a CSSD Sterilisation Technician, you will be responsible for the reprocessing and sterilisation of surgical instruments and equipment to the Operating Theatres and clinical areas within the Hospital.

What makes a difference for us?
- At least 12 months current clinical experience in sterilisation techniques.
- Australian Standard 4187 - 2014.
- ACHS Standards.
- NHMRC - Guidelines for the prevention of transmission of infectious diseases.
- Handling of used items for sterilisation process, including collection procedures and precautions.
- Decontamination and disinfection processes.
- Demonstrated instrumentation knowledge & able to assemble instrument trays correctly.
- SRACA Membership ‘Sterilising Research & Advisory Council of Australia (QLD) INC (Desirable)
- Loan Kit experience (Desirable)
- Available to work all shifts including AM and PM + 24/7 rotating on call roster
