The Discovery Science and Technology Centre is seeking enthusiastic Science Explainers to join our team

1. Very good verbal and interpersonal communication skills
2. Passion for science communication and education
3. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
4. Demonstrated ability to take initiative when unsupervised
5. Displayed adaptability of skills and knowledges
6. Current Working with Children Check and valid Car license (required at time of appointment)

**Desirable Criteria**:
1. Experience in an educational setting
2. Experience in group presentations
3. Retail experience
