We’re seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Support Worker to join our team in delivering integrated, recovery-oriented services within the Yorke and Northern Local Health Network. **About the Role**:
In this rewarding role, you will work under the guidance of a clinician to provide non-clinical, practical support to mental health consumers. You’ll help clients achieve their recovery goals, contributing to their wellness and rehabilitation through daily tasks that make a tangible difference. Your support will be key in promoting understanding around recovery, while also liaising with a range of community and health stakeholders to enhance service delivery. Key responsibilities:

- Provide psychosocial support across community, acute, and rehabilitation settings.
- Assist consumers with practical tasks to achieve their care plan goals.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support the recovery process.
- Help educate and empower consumers about their recovery journey.
- Report and liaise effectively with a variety of service providers.

**Essential Experience**:

- Experience in working with mental health or health-related issues.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with Aboriginal consumers and community-based services.

A Certificate III or above in Mental Health Work (Non-Clinical), or willingness to study further and or experience in group work, health education, or community development desirable but not essential.
