Personnel Logistics Supervisor

The **Future Generation Joint Venture** brings together the combined engineering experience and expertise of WeBuild, Clough and Lane and has been selected to design construct **Snowy 2.0**. This project is based within the Snowy Mountains in NSW and will deliver one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world.

**Purpose of the Role**:

- The logistics supervisor is an individual tasked to oversee goods shipment and delivery in the job site, by organising the logistic activities including; International shipments, local shipments and custom clearance. Supervisors manage the planning, organization, and implementation of the company's systems.**Qualifications**:

- Trade or Qualification within a relevant field of study
- White Card
- C Class Driver’s License

**Experience**:

- Extensive experience in civil or tunnelling construction, typically 5+ years of experience in a supervisory role
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar based role on a project of similar size and complexity
- Experience in basic use of Microsoft Office Suite, data and file recording.
- Experience in Safety, Community and Environmental Management
- Experience in Quality Management
- Experience in Planning & Resourcing

**Required Competencies**:

- Sound knowledge of local WHS standards and regulations
- Ideally an understanding and exposure of Reverse Osmosis Plants
- Ability to supervise team members, produce method statements and work closely with safety and other departments to control and maintain project safety standards
- Demonstrate a positive “can-do” attitude.
- Ability to lead and manage teams
- Demonstrate initiative and creative problem-solving skills
- Practical knowledge and understanding of computers and Microsoft software packages.
- Good communication skill, both oral and written
- Self motivated.
- Mechanical or Electrical Trade background
- Ability to implement and follow through on multiple issues and to achieve productive results
- Sound interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Ability to work to deadlines and targets and can prioritise tasks under pressure

- Robust knowledge of specific technicalities of transport : means of transportation, loading/unloading, packaging, customs, documentation, fiscal elements, normative.
- Proactivity, self-starting attitude - ability to manage independently all actions of checking and monitoring shipments, solving possible issues (commercial, administrative, documental, logistic)
- Ability to relate positively and constructively with all other Jobsite functions, both in daily operative terms and in general process / flow / roles terms
