**POSITION PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE**

The Test Lead will drive the planning and execution of User Acceptance Testing to ensure
systems meet business requirements and quality standards. The role ensures critical
defects are resolved and testing outcomes align with project objectives.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Test Planning
- Work with Stakeholders and TechnologyOne consultants to understand business
requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Develop UAT (User Acceptance Testing) strategy and test plans aligned with

project timelines and objectives.
- Define key success metrics for UAT phases.
- Test Case Design
- Create detailed and traceable test cases based on functional and non-functional
requirements.
- Ensure test cases cover positive, negative, edge and integration scenarios.
- UAT Execution Oversight
- Coordinate UAT activities including scheduling and tester onboarding.
- Monitor test execution, log defects and ensure timely resolution.
- Quality Assurance
- Validate completeness and accuracy of test results.
- Ensure all critical defects are resolved before go-live
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain UAT documentation including test plans, test cases, defect logs and
summary reports.
- Provide regular status updates to project leadership and stakeholders.
- Capability Building
- Conduct workshops or training sessions to enhance internal testing knowledge.
- Develop reusable templates and guidelines for future UAT efforts.

**Workplace Health & Safety**

Ensure compliance with WHS obligations and responsibilities as outlined in Councils
policies and procedures and under the relevant WHS legislation. These include but are

**COMMUNICATION**

The Test Lead will communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders encompassing many
service areas within Blue Mountains City Council as well as external stakeholders at
TechnologyOne. As an expert in testing, they will triage requirements and translate them
into valid test cases, reporting progress and success to Project Leadership and providing
expert advice to the wider team.

**JUDGEMENT & PROBLEM SOLVING**

will be working alongside a large multidisciplinary team and will require the ability to work
independently as well as alongside many stakeholders to ensure all requirements are
captured and correctly tested. The Test Lead will require high levels of judgement and
problem solving to enable them to align their stream to the requirements of Blue Mountains
City Council’s policies and procedures, as well as that of TechnologyOne’s
recommendations.
