**About you**:
You will have experience in and ability to perform a wide variety of manual labour tasks, indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. You love dealing with people, are adaptable and flexible, and take great pride in your work.

You will also have:

- Attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to maintain a high standard of presentation.
- The physical strength to perform heavy lifting, and general maintenance duties for extended periods of time.
- Experience using tools, machinery and equipment to undertake and maintain and cremation services.
- Customer-focus, sensitivity to grieving people and to communicate effectively with the public.
- To be at ease with working in a crematorium environment.
- Strong teamwork.
- A current unrestricted Drivers License.

**About the role**:
As the Leading Hand you will lead the site operations team and oversee park maintenance and development for the community. We are looking for someone with broad skills in the building industry or trades who can roll up their sleeves to get the job done. We are also looking for someone who can lead and get the best out of their team. Your days will be varied, and will include:

- Evaluating building and grounds maintenance and development needs
- Scheduling and coordinating cremation operations (don’t worry we will train you)
- Completing park paperwork and admin tasks
- Monitoring daily activities and workplace and operational requirements
- Performing a variety of manual labour tasks, indoors and outdoors in all weather condition
- Interacting with families
