We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Factory Hand to join our team here at the House of Paint.

House of Paint is a family-owned paint and colour manufacturing business that has been successfully operating in the industry for over 20 years.

**About the role**

As a Factory Hand, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes and maintaining high-quality standards for our products.

**You will**
- Assist in the production of various types of paints and coatings by following established recipes and procedures
- Operate machinery and equipment, such as mixers, reactors, and dispensing systems, under supervision
- Report any deviations or inconsistencies in product quality to the management of the business
- Load and unload materials from delivery trucks and ensure proper storage in designated areas
- Maintain inventory accuracy by updating records and reporting discrepancies
- Maintain factory floor, all facilities and equipment clean and tidy
- Work cooperatively with the team to achieve daily production targets

**You have**
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina to handle tasks that involve lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods
- Basic understanding of safety procedures and the ability to identify potential hazards
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Forklift and Driver’s licence preferably, although not required

**Salary**: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Dandenong, VIC 3175: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Work Location: In person
