**About the role**
Reporting to the Head of Schools, the Student Pathways Advisor role focuses on providing outreach and career advice to young people aged 15-22, with a strong emphasis on re-engagement, particularly for those for whom traditional schooling may no longer be the best fit.
A key function of the role is to deliver tailored career guidance, assisting young people in navigating alternative education pathways, including apprenticeships, traineeships, and TAFE programs. As a Student Pathways Advisor, you will have the opportunity to work directly with young people, schools, and community organisations, contributing to the success of TAFE Gippsland’s commitment to youth engagement and workforce development. The role requires travel across East Gippsland and participation in events outside of regular hours, particularly during peak enrolment periods.
