**About the Centre**
The Boroondara Disability Sport and Recreation Hub aims to connect people with disability in Boroondara to programs and services available across Boroondara Aquatic and Leisure Facilities.
Boroondara Sports Complex provides a range of wheelchair sports as well as other opportunities for people living with a disability to participate in active recreation programs and services.
**About the Role**
The Project Coordinator is responsible for leading the delivery of Disability Sport and Recreation Hub (DSRH) Project ‘Activate and Advance’ as part of the State Governments “Together More Active’ (TMA) Initiative. The project coordinators role includes:
- Implementation and delivery of the Disability Sport and Recreation Hub Project Plan, in line with the TMA project deliverables. This includes developing and implementing programs and services that meet the needs of people with disabilities, as well as working with partners to promote and raise awareness of the DSRH in line with the DSRH strategic plan.
- Supporting the Community Activation Manager: This includes aiding with planning, executing, and evaluating projects and programs related to the DSRH and LGA Initiatives. Reviewing programs and initiatives from an access, inclusion and diversity lens.
This a part-time position for 12 months with an hourly rate of $36.75 + Super.
