RPS is seeking qualified and experienced Environmental Approvals Specialists to join our growing and diverse Place and Environment team in Brisbane.

The Environmental Approvals Specialist will provide strategic advice to the business and client while managing environmental issues as they arise. This role will also be expected to influence business direction, ideas, people and major projects with a focus on managing client relationships and developing a market profile.

**What you’ll need to succeed**
- Minimum of 5 - 10 years’ experience in the Environmental industry
- Qualifications in Environmental Science and/or Management, Contaminated Land, Ecology, Botany or equivalent
- Proven experience in environmental assessments and approvals, developing and implementing world class management systems and/or compliance or auditing or contaminated land management
- Client Management experience
- Knowledge of Commonwealth, State and Local Government environmental and associate approvals
- Data analysis and report writing
- Current and unrestricted full drivers licence
- Proved specialist skills would be desirable (hydrogeology, ecology, bushfire assessment, contaminated land, environmental planning)
