Maintenance Coordinator

- Permanent Fulltime position - Monday to Friday
- Pay rate - $35 - $37.90 per hour + superannuation

Reporting directly to the Residential Manager at Maranatha, you will maintaining a physically safe, well maintained and secure home environment for our residents. Within this role you’ll be responsible for:

- Executing the preventative maintenance program throughout the residential aged care home
- Performing reactive repairs on items within the home as the need arises
- Managing the coordination of external maintenance contractors as required
- Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents closely following all policies and procedures

To be successful in this role you’ll need
- A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
- Trade certificate or Cert IV in Maintenance/Building services
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- Hands-on experience with building maintenance, handyman or building services role
- Able to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families
- Commitment to respecting the values, customs, preferences and spiritual beliefs of residents
- Great IT skills
