Our Product team is the beating heart of MYOB. From discovery through to delivery plus Data and Insights, it’s made up of a broad and multi-disciplined group of specialists focused on designing products that help our customers optimise their business potential and creating best-in-class customer and user experiences.

**About the role**

Our team is looking for a lead product designer in the financial services Domain. with a focus on helping deliver best-in-class invoicing, payments, and lending workflows within MYOB's software suite. Join forces with fellow designers, engineers and product managers to develop user-friendly, and engaging solutions. This role is ideal for those who excel in leadership while actively engaging in end-to-end design execution.

- Want to understand our customers and are happy to use different research techniques to do it.
- Get their team involved to make sense of the findings.
- Seek critique and feedback to help improve themselves and their designs.
- Collaborate and communicate well with other team members in product management and engineering.
- Test ideas, concepts, and designs early and often.
- Consider our customer's full journey from start to finish.

**The skills you'll need**
- With over 7 years in product design and at least 2 years in a leadership capacity, you’ve mastered the art of guiding projects and teams to success.
- As an experienced product design generalist, you confidently lead the end-to-end design process, from discovery to delivery.
- While experience in financial services is advantageous, it’s your design expertise that truly matters.
- You possess the ability to not only understand but also influence our business strategy through design.
- You shine when it comes to nurturing talent, providing mentorship to junior designers, and cultivating an environment ripe for collaborative innovation.
- At your core, you’re driven by innovation and a relentless focus on the user with proven experience thriving in agile, cross-functional team environments.
