**Your new role**:
Working on the Anzac Class Frigates under the Warship Asset Management Agreement, as the Test and Trials Manager you will be accountable to the Technical Services Group Manager for the quality, effectiveness, planning and oversight of Test and Trials activities associated with the Maritime Sustainment Program.

**More specifically, this role will see you**:

- Develop a holistic (end-to-end) Test schedule for each ship in an extended maintenance period in collaboration with Alliance partners and applicable external stakeholders.
- Manage and coordinate the Test and Trials program across all IPs in accordance with the schedule.
- Review and approval of project Test Readiness Review packs where applicable prior to delivery Compilation of Test artefacts and deliverables in a timely manner to support project delivery (System Verification Review etc.)
- Develop and manage the Contractor Sea Trials plan in conjunction with applicable stakeholders (Navy, IPs, etc.)
- Coordinate Test and Trials activities across the Platform, Combat and Communications disciplines;
- Coordinate with with stakeholder groups to ensure the availability of required resources, and work to de-conflict priorities across the program of work
- Effectively communicate with all stakeholder groups raising issues to relevant stakeholder(s) in an objective, professional and timely manner.
- Be responsible for the Test and Trials Team providing services and advice to the ANZAC Sustainment Program on related technical (Test and Trials) matters;
- Lead the Test and Trials team to deliver ships out of maintenance on time and with the required level of certification

About you

**As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you'll have**:

- The ability to obtain or hold an Australian Defence Security Clearance to NV1
- Demonstrated experience working with Marine platforms
- Tertiary qualifications or relevant background in Mechanical and/or Electrical disciplines
- Qualifications or relevant experience in delivering a project management role
- The ability to contribute and work in a cross-functional team while ensuring specific responsibilities are achieved.
- Good knowledge of verification and validation processes and procedures to deliver successful and effective outcomes at both a system and platform level
- Good interpersonal skills to work with direct and indirect stakeholders to support set to work completion and handover activities.

Clearances
As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.

International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
