**Live-Out Part-time Nanny**

**Salary: $42 inclusive of superannuation**

The Family:
Girl is a bright, energetic 14-month-old who loves the outdoors, enjoys reading, and thrives on social interaction. The family values kindness, compassion, integrity, and curiosity and seeks a nanny who embodies these qualities. They are excited to have a nanny who can support their daughter’s emotional development and engage her in age-appropriate activities.

The family speaks German and English at home and is looking for a nanny who is friendly, bubbly, and genuinely passionate about working with children. While German-speaking skills are preferred, they are not essential.

Key Responsibilities:
The nanny will:

- Provide age-appropriate play and learning activities.
- Engage in reading and developmental activities tailored to the child’s needs.
- Prepare and serve snacks and meals for the little one.
- Support Girls’s daily routine. A current typical day may look like: lunch at 12 PM, a nap from 12-2 PM, and outdoor activities such as trips to the playground.
- Utilise public transport for any necessary outings with Girl.
- Assist with household tasks when time permits (e.g when the little one is sleeping) & help preparing dinner
- Maintain open communication with the parents, including daily updates and urgent calls or texts as needed.

Occasional ad hoc babysitting may be requested but is not essential.
- A valid Working With Children Check (WWCC).
- A police check issued within the last two years.
- Current First Aid Certification (obtained within the last 36 months).
- Current CPR Certification (obtained within the last 12 months).
- A minimum of two years' nanny experience.
- Experience caring for children between ages 1 and 3yrs.
- Covid-19 vaccination (minimum of 2 doses).

Monday - Thursday, 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM (20 hours per week)
OR
Monday - Wednesday 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM (21 hours per week)

Pay:
$42/hr inclusive of Superannuation.
Payment Method: Salary.
Public Holidays: Paid
Family Leave: Paid during the family's absence for regularly scheduled workdays.

Additional Notes
The family will be relocating soon within the Lewisham area (likely Leichhardt, Summer Hill, or Dulwich Hill).
The family values a nanny who communicates openly and effectively, ensuring a positive and collaborative working relationship.
