An opportunity is now available for a Reinsurance Assistant to join our Sydney team in a permanent, full-time position.
**The key responsibilities include**:

- Quarterly analysis of reports to determine reinsurance recoveries.
- Quarterly analysis of AIL bordereau to determine which matters require reporting to external reinsurers.
- Preparation of Claims Transaction Reports.
- Quality assurance check for all information received from the Claims Department.
- Manage and monitor unclaimed recoveries.
- Maintain records and respond to s38 queries.
- Provide timely and thorough responses to requests for information in accordance with Services Australia deadline.
- Manage the process of receipt recoveries.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Medico-legal secretarial experience or knowledge of medical and legal terminology advantageous or;
- Personal injury claims management experience
- Bookkeeping/accounting experience
- Proficient Microsoft Excel skills essential
- Must have strong organisational skills and ability to meet strict deadlines
