We are a cafe in Phillip that wants to expand our amazing team with someone who is looking to work 4 to 5 days, must be available during the week as well as weekends.

About the roll: we mostly focus on making and serving specialty coffee, more specifically filter coffee. You will be expected to work well in all areas of coffee making. This time around we are looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years of hospitality experience, including specialty coffee experience. Apart from specialty coffee you will also work with specialty chai, hot chocolate and tea.

We also make and serve food, in a small kitchen without chefs. We will train everyone to be able to make every dish on our menu.

Details: we will pay according to the Restaurant Industry Award, level will vary depending on your experience and skills. The amount of hours will be discussed during the interview process, however we will be looking for approx. 30/34 hours a week on average.

Your role will gradually evolve to becoming an all-rounder, which involves:

- Making and serving coffee
- Operating the till
- Regular cleaning of the cafe, kitchen and coffee machine
- Making and serving food
- Restocking the retail shelves
- Customer service as well as dealing with queries and complaints
- Ensuring the ambiance amongst staff and customers is a positive one

Person specification:

- Enjoys manual work
- Can work early shifts (starting at 6:30am)
- Can work 8 hour shifts (6.30am-2.45pm)

- Previous hospitality experience

Pay: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour
