Rare opportunity for an accomplished Fundraising & Marketing professional to join the team at Ronald McDonald House Charities SA.

**About the Opportunity**

Reporting to the Executive Officer, as RMHC SA’s Fundraising & Marketing Manager you will be responsible for leading the creation and execution of an innovative fundraising, marketing and communications strategy and overseeing all related tactical initiatives to meet or exceed revenue targets. Through collaboration with key stakeholders, the Fundraising & Marketing Manager will work to strengthen the brand and reputation of RMHC and RMHC SA across South Australia through quality marketing and communication initiatives.

Your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

- Creating a long-term fundraising strategy aimed to grow revenue year on year, provide diverse income streams, and strengthen RMHC SA’s reputation
- Overseeing the creation and delivery of revenue driven fundraising events and initiatives encompassing traditional events and digital campaigns
- Lead the creation of compelling sponsorship opportunities for donors and potential donors
- Identifying and developing diverse funding streams, including but not limited to corporate donations, grant funding, individual giving, bequests and other initiatives
- Overseeing the creation of a RMHC SA Communications Plan incorporating a digital and social media strategy to increase the public profile and raise awareness of the brand
- Overseeing the development of targeted communications and marketing initiatives encompassing traditional, digital, and social media channels
- Building credible relationships with media, agency, and PR contacts to identify opportunities for expanding the RMHC SA profile
- Overseeing the creation, growth, and productivity of the Ambassador Program

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you will be a highly experienced fundraiser with advanced marketing and communications skills. You will have a track record in achieving significant revenue targets and a demonstrated ability to create and lead the execution of complex campaigns with multi-channel marketing.

In addition to the above, to be successful in this role you will have/be:

- Minimum 4-5 years Fundraising and Marketing background (with experience in the not-for-profit sector desirable)
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, or a related discipline
- Demonstrated ability to manage and execute marketing, event programs and campaigns with the purpose to raise funds and awareness for a cause
- Experience developing revenue streams and/or maximising returns from existing streams
- Experience in building relationships with, and raising revenue from major donors
- Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to foster a positive workplace culture
- Strong financial understanding and management
- Strong written and verbal command of the English language, grammar, and sentence structure
- High level of drive and determination and a strong results orientation
- A willingness and ability to think and act strategically as well as being hands on
- Current State-based Working with Children Check
- National Criminal History Check
