Laboratory Technician

Protech is a leading supplier of staff to the construction industry in Victoria and we are currently looking for Laboratory Technicians for a quarry industry in Montrose.

We have opportunities for Laboratory Technicians working in Montrose.

This position will suit someone who is interested to enter the industry who is keen to learn.

This is for an ongoing casual work from Mondays to Fridays, day shift, for a pay of $39 per hour + overtime pay if required, Mondays to Fridays, day-shift, and PPE/Work Shirts provided.

**Requirements**:

- strong commitment to safety policies and procedures
- ability to work within a team environment
- articulate attention to detail
- current Driver's license
- Optional: previous testing experience

**Responsibilities**:

- assisting with the testing of quarry samples
- weighing, undergoing chemical testing, cleaning
- ensuring all test data is entered correctly into the laboratory software
- calibrating and maintaining all laboratory equipment
