Pharmacy Assistant

We are a well established, independent, community pharmacy in Earlwood. We are a large friendly team and pride ourselves on being a supportive, fun place to work. We are at the heart of our local community with a focus on health and expert medical advice. We aim to be the destination pharmacy for medication and health needs both prescription and OTC.

**About You**:
You are a pharmacy assistant with at least some experience looking for a part-time (2 - 4 days a week) position in a progressive busy pharmacy.

To be successful in this role you must have:

- Previous experience in community pharmacy in Australia;
- POS experience and good computer skills;
- Good communication skills;
- Excellent time management skills;
- Sound knowledge of the OTC Pharmacy product category;
- Ideally have worked in community pharmacy for at least 12 months and have ordering experience.

**Responsibilities**:
Assisting the proprietors and retail manager with placing front of shop orders and dealing with reps.

Receiving, receipting and putting away orders.

Supervising and delegating to our part-time and junior staff.

Keeping the point of sale system up to date.

Dealing with credits.

Providing friendly and efficient customer service.

Working closely with the owners and pharmacists to ensure the pharmacy is as well run as possible.

The hours are somewhat flexible but you must be available on at least 2 weekdays including most Tuesdays and Fridays and to at least 5:00 pm. There is no weekend or evening work required.

**Salary**: $21.14 - $32.00 per hour
