**About the Volunteer Position**
- The purpose of the role is to work with the headspace Port Adelaide consortium partners to maximise opportunities and expertise to collaborate with each other, government, and the community to develop and deliver an integrated and sustainable youth health services for the Port Adelaide community. headspace Port Adelaide comprises a consortium of service partners. The Consortium partners work together to offer comprehensive support in a coordinated way for young people aged 12-25.The consortium is considered a strategic partnership that identifies strategic priorities about the quality, safety and sustainability of the service model, and responds through shared action. The Consortium is led by an independent Chairperson who is not a representative of a consortium partner or the lead agency.- The independent headspace Port Adelaide Chairperson should have a passion and
- understanding of the needs of young people and want to strive to improve health outcomes for the Port Adelaide regions young people.- In this volunteer role, you will help by performing the following duties:
- Lead the consortium on working within their MoU and the headspace Port Adelaide work plan
- Ensure Consortium meetings are managed in a timely manner
- Ensure meetings focus on the strategic and advisory role as defined
**Commitment**
- To attend at least eighty percent of consortium meetings, and where unable to
attend, negotiate for a member of the consortium to facilitate the meeting as the acting chairperson.
- Act in accordance with the South Australia Privacy Act
- Attendance at Quarterly Meetings
- Preparation for Quarterly Meetings - pre-reading
- Attendance at headspace functions as required
**About You**

- Our volunteers must have a valid **Working with Children Check **which we can support you to obtain and** current and satisfactory Police Check.**
