We are now on the lookout for our next star recruit as we upskill and prepare you to run your own centre. We have a **Full Time Store Manager **role on offer based at our **Bibra Lake **centre in a floating capacity.
Due to our current growth trajectory and business needs, we are on the hunt for a store manager who takes a great sense of pride in their work, who is a self-starter, likes a challenge and is open to learning.
The sites you will work across include **Cockburn, Bibra Lakes, Jandakot and O'Connor **based on the needs of the business. This will provide a valuable insight into our business, how each centre operates daily, as well as ongoing training and development on your journey at National Storage.
**The Role**:
Our Store Managers work collaboratively with their operations Manager and their team to drive centre performance whilst aligning to company values. This role is a business-critical role, encompassing customer service, administration, operations & people management.
- A Day in the Life of a Store Manager Includes: _
- Leading and motivating a team of 1-2 Store Consultants.
- Setting clear expectations and providing ongoing support and feedback to ensure team performance meets or exceeds targets.
- Ensuring excellent customer service is consistently delivered.
- Responding to customer enquiries or concerns promptly and efficiently.
- Maintaining & cleaning of the storage facility & grounds.
- Work towards monthly sales and KPI targets of the Bibra Lake and Surrounding locations.
- Overseeing and actively managing centre operations, including maintenance, security, access control, inventory management, and compliance with health and safety regulations
- Drive operational excellence with a strong focus on centre presentation and maintenance.
- End of month reporting summarizing the centre's financial performance
- Reporting directly to the Operations Manager regarding weekly & monthly updates/results.
- Promoting a positive and inclusive team culture that aligns with the company's values and fosters teamwork, care, and excellence.
- Assist clients with any urgent requests outside traditional office hours with company provided mobile phone.
- Action general administration duties such as rosters, leave requests and timesheets, customer contracts and inventory management.
**What you will bring**:
- To be a successful Store Manager at Bibra Lake, you will ideally have:_
- Demonstrated 1 + years’ experience within a management or team leader position.
- Strong conflict resolution knowledge and the ability to de-escalate situations.
- Proven ability in working towards sales targets and KPIs.
- Effective communication skills and be able to foster a team building environment.
- You have a motivated, proactive, and positive outlook with the willingness to learn and grow with the business.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- ** Driver’s license and car to be able to travel across Perth.**:
- Forklift license desirable but not essential, as long as you’re open learning how to drive a forklift.
- ** The ability to work on a rotating roster, with every second Saturday from 9:00am-2:00pm**
