- Ever thought of a rewarding nursing career facilitating the care of patients with a haematological, oncological or auto-immune condition, who are undergoing Peripheral Blood Stem Cell Collection and/or Bone Marrow (stem cell) Transplantation? The statewide Bone Marrow transplant Team at the Royal Hobart Hospital provide innovative, evidence-based treatment opportunities for Tasmanian Cancer Patients.**The role**:
In partnership with Haematologists provide a nurse consultancy service to facilitate the care of patients with a haematological, oncological or auto-immune condition, who are undergoing Peripheral Blood Stem Cell Collection and/or Bone Marrow (stem cell) Transplantation.

Facilitate the continuity and quality of care for patients undergoing these treatments through supporting and participating in a multidisciplinary approach to cancer care.

Identify quality improvements in care coordination and service accessibility within the designated area and assist in the development and implementation of system changes and process improvements to support care coordination.

In collaboration with the senior Cancer Services nursing staff, provide clinical support and educational programs for nursing staff involved in the care of bone marrow transplant patients in the pursuit of contemporary practice, research and quality care.
